This Vietnam tour overnight trip offers a great opportunity to cruise the bay and enjoy excursions to grottoes where amazing and unsuspected shapes are pointed out to you. The magnificent Halong Bay is a mystical wonder with
cultural, historical and geological uniqueness. The shear natural beauty of the
area has made it one of Vietnam’s most popular destinations and has also earned
itself UNESCO World Heritage status. The majestic beauty of the bay and its
islands can only be fully appreciated by traveling by boat amongst the islands,
fjords, and inlets.
Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay
This morning drive to the coastal port of Halong, four hours
from Hanoi, and enjoy the lush scenery as you drive through the rich farmlands
of the Red River Delta. Upon arriving in Halong, board the traditional cruise,
and enjoy lunch whilst cruising along the beautiful waters. The scenery is just
spectacular as you pass limestone karsts jutting up into the sky. Take
the tender to visit a fish farm or to pick up a kayak to paddle through the
waters. Or if you like just relax onboard the junk and admire the scenery. End
the day on deck with a drink in hand to watch the sun set over the bay followed
by a freshly prepared seafood dinner served under the stars, before retiring to
your cabin for the night.
Day 2: Halong Bay - Hanoi
Start your morning with a Tai Chi class on the sundeck, or sit
and enjoy a fresh cup of coffee as you view the awakening of Halong Bay's boat
people. After that, the cruise take us to the Cave of Surprises. This is the
biggest cave in Halong Bay and is filled with many rock formations all lit up
by colourful lights. From here, it’s plain sailing back to the main
harbour and returning to Hanoi by late afternoon. Finish Vietnam tour
