Stunning Sa Huynh Beach

Leaving the Sa Huynh Station in Duc Pho District in the central province of Quang Ngai on an early morning, we followed a travel guide to the beach and happily lied on the sand before we saw the very first rays of sunlight shining through layers of cloud in the sky on the horizon. Our first impression of Sa Huynh was truly unforgettable.

The sun shined the sea and waves that clapped gently against the coastline of the picturesque beach of Quang Ngai Province (travel in Vietnam). We lied there and closed our eyes to enjoy moments of peacefulness to the fullest.

After swimming in the turquoise waters, we took a boat for a sightseeing tour to surrounding sites. From afar, Chau Me Beach appeals to visitors by its magnificent beauty with greenery and white sand. Upon arrival, we were amazed at the rocks in different shapes and sizes on the beach.

On the beach, there are many restaurants serving fresh seafood, including boiled king crab served with salt and green chili and sea urchin porridge.

To cook this porridge, locals cut off the sea urchins in half and then take out the golden flesh. The flesh is then sautéed with garlic and onion slices before being cooked with porridge. This dish was one of the tastiest that we have ever eaten.

There are many other dishes on offer such as anchovy salad, snail, sour fish soup, sautéed oyster, and fish ball served with girdle-cakes and spicy and sour sauce.

Hang Cop – Wild tourist destination in Da lat

Apart from its romantic sightseeing spots, Da Lat City (travel in Vietnam) in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong has other new and wild places that are perfect for adventurers, including Hang Cop (Tiger Cave) and a beautiful manmade lake created by Ankroet.

From Da Lat railway station, tourists can rent a motorbike to head to Cau Dat which is known for having the best Arabica coffee in Vietnam.

Upon arrival, one can see a signboard instructing the way to Hang Cop (Vietnam tour). The cave was put into operation a long time ago but has since fallen off the map.

Local people said that the cave has a spectacular waterfall in the rainy season and its beauty can compete with other popular locations like Prenn, Cam Ly and Datanla waterfalls.

Tourists have to conquer 350 slippery steps to reach the waterfall, which is ideal for overnight camping, or just a short visit to take photos, breathe in the fresh air, or swim. People sometimes can see eagles flying across the huge pine trees.

Ankroet hydropower plant,in operation since 1945, is 20km from Da Lat to the northwest. Tourists to the site can admire unique French style stone architecture from the early 20th century. The plant is about 2km from the Dan Kia – Suoi Vang tourist site. There’s a narrow path with many sloping corners under pine shades leading to the beautiful lake.

Those who wish to have a quiet relaxation time can choose these two places for their next exploration.

Hanoi is arguably Asia’s most charming capital city. Hanoi, meaning ‘where the river bends’ is a city of broad, tree-lined boulevards, elegant French villas and colonial-era buildings painted in muted hues of yellow and orange. It is also one of Asia’s greenest cities with an abundance of parks and lakes as well as a host of cafes and art galleries and an Old Quarter steeped in history. The city’s most interesting places for tourists are all relatively close to each other, which makes it easy to enjoy the best parts of the city on foot or by cycle.

Hanoi was once a collection of villages that eventually grew into quarters dedicated to particular crafts,  where skilled craftsman continue to practise their arts handed down for centuries (Vietnam tour)

Discover Mui Ne beach in Vietnam

Mui Ne is the adrenalin capital of southern Vietnam. There’s no scuba diving or snorkeling to speak of, but when Nha Trang and Hoi An get the rains, Mui Ne gets the waves. Surf’s up from August to December. For windsurfers, the gales blow as well, especially from late October to late April, when swells stir thanks to the Philippine typhoons. Kite surfing has really taken off and the infinite horizon is often obscured by dozens of kites flapping in the wind. If this all sounds too much like hard work you can simply lounge around on the beach, watching others take the strain.

A beautiful beach in Mui Ne

The name ‘Mui Ne’ interestingly has many origins. The first meaning comes from the fishing people in the past. They usually faced sea storms, so they used to hide in a cape, which was called ‘Mui’ in Vietnamese, and ‘hide’ meant ‘Ne’. The second one originated as the name of the youngest daughter of Cham King – who was known as the owner of this land. Her alias was Ne, therefore, the cape where her temple was built, was called ‘Mui Ne’.

Mui Ne is a tropical beach with wonderfully warm weather, which is ideal for swimming. However, since the area from the central stretch to the northern end is dominated by fishing industry, the southern part is more suitable for swimming.

A visitor in Sand Dunes Mui Ne

With strong sea breezes, Mui Ne is most famous for kite and wind surfing. Days from November to March have clear skies with perfectly strong winds from 11 am until late evening. The rock-free water makes it relatively safe for the kite surfers. There are also some Kite Surfing Schools, in which kite surfing starters are helped to launch the kite by beach boys. For starters who want more self-practice, you can try the western part front around Kite Surfing School Wind chimes, where there are not many surfers, so that you can avoid unwanted accidents.

Obviously, lots of beautiful spots in Mui Ne attract domestic as well as international tourists, such as Ca Na Beach when book Vietnamtour Mui Ne which takes a 2-hour drive from Mui Ne and provides probably the best coral reefs and diving opportunity in Vietnam, Fairy Springs  – a stream where people can sightsee the local wildlife (birds, crabs, fish, frogs, many exotic flowers, etc.), Fish Sauce Plants, where famous Phan Thiet fish sauce is produced and sold all over Vietnam, Phan Thiet Water Tower, designed by Prince Suphanouvong of Laos – also the symbol of Binh Thuan province, Takou Mountain – 1-hour drive from Mui Ne Beach, which has not only beautiful tropical rainforest, but also an old pagoda on top of the mountain, PoShaNu Cham Tower – a relic of Cham culture built in the 8th century, which should not be missed, etc. The most must-see one is the Sand Dunes , where the dunes turn from white to gold (red dunes can be found further south in Mui Ne Village).
