Day 1: Hochiminh Arrival
Arrive at the Tan Son Nhat airport,
you’ll be greeted by your guide and driven to the city centre for hotel
check-in. You’ll have time to relax after your journey before a welcome dinner
at a Vietnamese traditional restaurant. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 2: Hochiminh City Tour – Cu Chi Tunnel
Breakfast in hotel. Embark on a city
tour to admire Saigon’s historic landmarks including the Notre Dame Cathedral,
then head across the square to the Central Post Office designed by the French
architect, Gustav Eiffel. Continue your visit with the former Independent
Palace, the headquarters of the Saigon Government during the American war,
revealing the history of Saigon during its turbulent recent past. Continue to
the War Remnants Museum for a vivid insight of the American war through the
eyes of locals. Next, stroll toward the center of China town to visit Thien Hau Temple -
18th-century temple dedicated to the Goddess of the Sea and Protector of
Sailors. Of special note is a scale model boat commemorating the first Chinese
arriving from Canton, and a whimsical ceramic frieze lining the roofs above the
inner courtyard.
Enjoy lunch at a local Vietnamese restaurant. After that,
depart Cu Chi Tunnels, an underground network of tunnels constructed by
Vietnamese fighters during the struggle for independence. The tunnels contained
hospitals, accommodation, etc. and were used as a military base for the
Vietcong during the American war. Drive back to HCMC. Dinner and overnight at
your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 3: Hochiminh City – Vinh Long – Can Tho
7:00AM: Pick up from your hotel in
Ho Chi Minh. This trip provides a look at a wide variety of the life and
scenery of the Delta. On the way you can see green rice paddy fields stretching
towards the horizon. After arrival in Cai Be, a boat takes you to the floating
market with sellers and buyers bargaining and exchanging their goods from their
boats. Next, a boat rides on the maze of shady canals visiting the An Binh
islands (Vinh Long). We will enjoy the local tropical fruits and see how local
people cultivate their orchards, make their living from ceramics, popcorn and
rice paper... A nice chance for bicycle riding, roaming through the village and
looking at the local handicraft shops. A stop will be landed on Vinh Long
market a nice walk around. Continue driving to Can Tho. Dinner and homestay in
Can Tho.
Day 4: Can Tho - Cai Rang Floating – Hochiminh City
Cruising along the small and
picturesque tributaries by rowing boat, we will see the Cai Rang floating
market (the nicest one with heaps of rowing boats). Take in the beautiful
scenery and the daily activities of the locals who lives along the Mekong
canals and you will roam through the village to visit a rice husking mill and a
rice noodles making shop. Drive back to Sai Gon via My Tho City. Arrive Ho Chi
Minh City at 5:00pm. Dinner and O/N in Hochiminh.
Day 5: Hochiminh City – Dalat
7:00AM: Pick up from your hotel in
Ho Chi Minh & depart to Dalat by bus. Drive through scenic rubber and tea
plantation farms en route to the cooler climes of Dalat, 300km from Saigon.
Established as a hill station at the beginning of 20th century, Dalat is
reminiscent of an Alpine town with its French chalets and pine forests. On the
way, stop for sightseeing at Prenn Waterfall. Upon arrival, check in the hotel.
Diner and overnight in Dalat.
Day 6: Dalat
Breakfast at your hotel. A morning
tour of Dalat includes Dalat Flower Park, Mong Mo Hill and XQ
hand embroidery village. Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, You’ll visit Emperor Bao Dai's Summer
Palace that is indicative of Bao Dai's status as the puppet ruler of an
occupied country, Truc Lam Zen Monastery and Tuyen Lam Lake. Dinner and
overnight in Dalat.
Day 7: Dalat – Nha Trang
Breakfast in hotel. Free shopping at
Dalat Market. Check out. Depart for Nha Trang, following a new route connecting
two charming cities with the length 140 km to make guest enjoy the significance
of forests,mountains and clouds, stop by Hon Giao pass to take fotos . Arrive
Nha Trang and check in at the hotel. Dinner and O/N in Nha Trang.
Day 8: Nha Trang
Let’s have a morning boat trip on
Nha Trang bay to visit some of the nearby islands, there are opportunities for
us to swim and snorkel in the clear warm water hereby. Return to shore after a
fresh seafood lunch on one of the islands. The afternoon is free to relax on
the beach. Overnight in Nha Trang (dinner at your own arrangement).
Day 9: Nha Trang – Hochiminh City
After breakfast. Check out. Visit and
shopping at Dam market. Driving back to Ho Chi Minh city, stop over at the Ca
