Coming to the islet, around nine kilometers from the mainland, visitors can admire what can be described as a stunning picture of nature, enjoy fresh seafood, and join various activities including snorkeling, motor-boating, fishing and parasailing.
Tourists to Mot Islet should not miss the chance to watch the coral anemone reef and flocks of fish in various sizes and colors under the sea.
As the coral reefs are near the shore, those who do not want to dive can admire the beauty of the coral and fish by sitting on bamboo basket boats with their bottom made of transparent glass.

HCMC’s pedestrian street gets free Wi-Fi
Free Wi-Fi is now available on the pedestrian-only Nguyen Hue Street in downtown Ho Chi Minh City, news website VnExpress reported.
The service, which has up to 1-gigabit speed, will blanket the whole street around-the-clock, the report quoted the provider Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) as saying.
VNPT said it is still working to improve the coverage.
Local authorities are also preparing to install 160 wooden benches along the street. The benches were made from timber of large, century-old trees in front of the Saigon Opera House, which were felled last July to make room for the city’s first subway station.
The US$19.7 million Nguyen Hue pedestrian street has become a new tourist attraction in HCMC downtown since it opened to the public on April 29.
Last Sunday, the city inaugurated a new statue of President Ho Chi Minh on the street to celebrate his 125th birthday.

Vietnam’s Son Doong named among places out of this world
Bored Panda, a website for art, design and photography community, just released a list of 30 heavens on earth including Son Doong, the world’s largest cave in central Vietnam.
The list of “unbelievable places” received 175 submissions and Son Doong, or Mountain River, has been voted by many readers, ranking at number 8.
“These out-of-this-world photos will make you feel like you’re on another planet,” said the post on the site, which was started in 2009 to provide a platform for artists to turn their stories into viral content.
Son Doong (travel in Vietnam) contains at least 150 individual grottoes, a dense subterranean jungle, several underground rivers.
It became known as the world’s largest cave in 2009, stretching five kilometers long, 150 meters high and 200 meters wide.
A local man discovered the cave for the first time in 1991 and British excavators helped put it on the world map.
The cave just won more global fame recently after breathtaking images of it appeared on the US popular talk show “Good Morning America” last week.
Coming first in Bored Panda’s list of exotic destinations is Glowworms Cave, which looks like a starry night sky in New Zealand, followed by Tianzi Mountains in China, Pamukkale (cotton castle) in Turkey, and Emerald Ice on Baikal Lake, Russia.
